Natürlich ist uns klar, dass dieses Angebot für den Valentinstag zu spät kommt, bedingt durch die Transportzeiten nach Brexit. Die Gestaltung des Labels verzichtet aber auch auf die Worte „Valentine’s Day“ und so glauben wir, dass der Wolfburn „Love Potion“ auch unterjährig bestens als Geschenk geeignet ist. Abgefüllt wurde er aus nur zwei Fässern aus dem Jahr 2016, einem Oloroso Sherry Butt und einem Bourbon Barrel, wie immer in natürlicher Farbgebung und ohne Kühl-Filtrierung.

Original Tasting Notes

Nose: Orchard fruits meet vanilla with a delectable overtone of sherry sweetness. Yummy.
Palate: Shortbread and scented wood meet cherries and pears. There’s a delightful panoply of flavours and a subtle creaminess to the spirit. The tannins are supple, adding depth to the lush savoury sweetness.
Finish: Creamy fruit flavours drift away, leaving a lingering hint of oak and vanilla. Simply gorgeous, right to the end.
