Official tasting notes:

Nose: Immediately reminds me of McCarthy's Oregon Peated Malt Whisky! The spirit is wonderfully aromatic with bay, dried ginger, fenugreek and a hint of (don't say it...) Bee Pollen! There is a syrupy sweetness which is well integrated with the peat - Ogreat syrup mixed with ash. Under dilution, I get grist, seashells and smoked pineapple.
Palate: The palate immediately takes you to the South side of Islay! The peat begins to dissipate and the spices appear again, there is also a lovely charred sweet nuttiness which reminds me of almond brittle. BMX tyre (in a good way!), black cardamom.
Dilution softens and integrated everything - feels much older than 3, no harshness.
Finish: Spearmint, tar, hessian and aromatic spices.
