Sansibar did it again .. Nachdem in der Vergangenheit bereits einige Abfüllungen mit dem weltberühmten Talent des amerikanischen PopArt Künstlers Charles Fazzino verbunden wurden, haben sie es erneut getan.

Einer der neuen Whisky ist ein Antique Blended Whisky. Tolle 48 Jahre reifte er im Hogshead und ist auf lediglich 145 Flaschen limitiert!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, apricot, peach, sultanas, figs, vanilla and honey, furniture polish, old leather, flavoured pipe tobacco.

Palate: Sea salt, smoke, sweet and sour fruit jam, wood ash, leather and mint. Fresh, fruity acidity in light minerality together with liquorice and ginger.

Finish: Long and very creamy finish, barely dry, but now clearly spicy, so that the fruit flavours recede into the background. Dark chocolate. An impression of tobacco and tropical fruit remains.
