Tasting Notes
Nose: Initially rhubarb, tropical fruits, golden syrup, shortbread. Then coconut shavings, barbecued meats and sugar cane.
Palate: Almonds, pecan pie, butterscotch. Peat starts building alongside cigar box and old library notes. Very typical of a mature Springbank; salty, earthy and briny.
Finish: Refined with a hint of peat smoke. Dunnage warehouse; earthy, bung cloth. Fruit notes develop with hints of molasses and sweet Prosciutto ham.
