Official tasting notes:
Nose: Salted caramel, toffee apple, some pollen, Fudgy Wudgy, browning pear, sweet lemon and honey (would make an excellent hot toddy), himalayan musk.
Palate: Very buttery/honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger, pears follow on from the nose, black pepper, red apples. The dechar/rechar cask shows a delicate balance of fresh oak influence and fruit-forward distillate.
Finish: Sweet lemon returns with some pears, slightly acidic close.
