Ein einzelnes Fass stark getorfter Loch Lomond, 2005 destilliert und 19 Jahre lang gereift Jahre, bevor er in natürlicher Fassstärke abgefüllt wird.
Dieses Fass war ziemlich aktiv und hat die Teer- und Torfaromen in diesem Whisky wirklich konzentriert. Es ist ein sehr großes und äußerst zufriedenstellender Whisky, der ältere Stilelemente mit viel modernen Eigenschaften verbindet.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Very tarry and oily, big pure notes of dry peat smoke, hessian and some herbal medicinal qualities. A big impression of wood spice and unlit cigars too.
Palate: Superb texture and power upon arrival. Maintains the peppery and tarry intensity of the peat, with even more medicinal qualities coming through and a nice tension between wood spice and sweet smoke.
Finish: Very long, camphory, tarry, peaty and peppery with notes of smoked teas and kippers in the aftertaste.
