Für die 2021er Edition des Kilkerran 16 aus der Glengyle Brennerei werden 75% ex-Bourbon- und 25% ex-Sherryfässer verwendet.

Original Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft and delicate on the nose, with an initial malty, cereal element opening up to sweet apcricot notes. Along with hints of lemon meringue pie and orange peel, soft citrus characteristic develops over time.

Palate: Following the delicate nose, this malt is clearly more powerful on the palate. Sweet and sticky with a waxy mouthfeel and a hint ofaniseed. Lemon, pear drops and honey notes are present alongside rich milk chocolate and liquorice.

Finish: Rounded off with a gentle peat smoke influence, and the endurance of the malty cereal notes.
