Ein 35 Jahre alter Hampden aus einem Single Cask ist natürlich eine absolute Rarität. Es wurden lediglich 198 Flaschen abgefüllt.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Tropical fruits - mango, guava, leather and liquorice on the nose.
Palate: Initially pear drop sweets on the palate followed by engine oil, banana and cloves. Overripe pineapple is tempered by sweet oak and the whole is beautifully complex integrated after over three decades of maturation.
Finish: A medium length, slightly dry finish with a faint hint of tobacco smoke.
